About Our Co-Founder
Hidy Hou, a registered acupuncturist and registered traditional Chinese medicine practitioner of BC in Canada, has a specialization in Chinese and Western medicine clinical therapy since July 1989. She graduated from China Medical University with a Bachelor of Medicine.
Hidy has devoted more than 20 years to the clinical work of cardiovascular diseases. She has a wealth of clinical treatment experience in the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, along with the treatment of critical internal diseases. After immigrating to Canada, she studied Chinese medicine systematically in Beijing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver, and acquired the knowledge and skills of integrated Chinese and Western medicine.
Our Mission
Hidy specializes in the integration of traditional Chinese and western medicine, the use of unique acupuncture methods to treat varied kinds of pain, such as sciatica, lumbago and leg pain, headache, periarthritis of shoulder, tennis elbow, knee pain, headache, toothache, trigeminal neuralgia, shoulder and neck pain. In addition, she excels at using acupuncture to treat cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, stroke, hemiplegia sequelae and other viscera diseases, which is well-received and trusted by the majority of her patients.
